2013 Week #5 Rankings ReleasedPosted: 2013-06-26 07:30:00 ET
The MYLax Rankings Week #5 update bumps the minimum number of games for the boys divisions up to 10 this week as advertised prior to the season. A number of teams have dropped out of the rankings because of this update. They are still in the system, they just don't meet the requirement for number of games played at this time.
A couple other important notes:
1) The “Workable Ratings” will be released to all zone directors on the evening of Wednesday June 26th and any individuals with concerns need to please contact their zone director OR the OLA Ratings Office directly (olaratings@mail.com). The ratings appeals are due by fax to the OLA office no later than July 5th at 12:00 Noon and the hearing date is Sunday July 7th.
2) All teams will be required to play a minimum of ten (10) games, which must include ONE tournament, by the first Monday in July, in order to justify their ratings. If a team has not met this requirement they may not be eligible to participate in their provincial championship. These games maybe a combination of Zone play, additional tournaments and/or approved non-zone games, (house league games not included).
